Johnson & Johnson and Novartis recently announced a recall of Duragesic transdermal pain patches after discovering that assured manufacturing defects could cause a fentanyl overdose when the patches leak and release

potentially fatal doses of fentanyl, the main painkiller in the Duragesic patches. What are the symptoms and side effects of a Duragesic overdose?
