Never ending story?
A few years ago I was out to eat dinner with a co-worker, and we had just delivered some drug prevention presentations at a nearby school earlier that afternoon. Our server asked us what we did for a living and we told her that we work to keep kids from using drugs. Her reply was, “Aww, I bet it’s tough to know that you really can’t keep them from doing drugs.”
We couldn’t believe it! It makes me wonder how many people think that drugs are always going to be part of our culture and, if that’s the thought, how many people think it’s okay for kids to try drugs - which turns into 23 million people addicted to drugs.
Even worse, there are some organizations, including one in San Francisco
Ptoey! That’s crap!
I take great pride in knowing that I work with some of the most dedicated people on earth who are working toward a drug-free society, and truly know that it can be done.
We are Narconon Arrowhead, and we’re one of the largest and most successful drug rehabilitation and education programs in the nation. Take that!
