Did steroids made Todd Sauerbrun smart
The Nation knows Carolina steroid user/punter Todd Sauerbrun, currently the punter for the New England Patriots shows a penchant for stupid comments.  We know he juiced to get ready for his rigorous role as defensive tackle, linebacker, punter and whiner.
We know Sauerbrun paid weekly fines for being fat carrying extra weight :
"I’m a pound or two overweight. I don’t even want to get into it, it’s
my fault. But it just gets so annoying getting that letter every week
in your mailbox."
Threatened to kick the Gramatica brothers arses:
"I don’t know who this kid thinks he’s playing with but I’m not
the most mild-tempered guy,” Sauerbrun said. "If he would have
said the wrong thing to me there’s no telling what I might have
done … that kid is as big of an idiot as his brother, and I’m
sure his other brother is, too. It goes right down the line.”
Sauerbrun summed it
"I made some dumb choices and I think I’ve been pretty humbled through
that," he said. "I feel like if this isn’t a lesson learned, I’m an
idiot."
however, it might be that Sauerbrun’s steroids pumped up his cerebration.  According to the Sports Frog, Sauerbrun has a ‘get-out-of-jail-free card from the Pats.
A Special Master ruled
Wednesday punter Todd Sauerbrun is now a free agent — available to
sign with any team — after winning a grievance that voided the New
England Patriots right to match a one-year contract he recently signed
with the Denver Broncos. The failure to put the first-right-of-refusal provision in a separate
attachment to the contract was the reason the Special Master ruled in
favor of Sauerbrun. The case was argued in his behalf by Jeff Kessler,
one of the labor lawyers who helped to write the collective bargaining
agreement.
Brilliant.  Steroid Todd punts himself out of the endzone.
