“Are You High Right Now?”

Generally, I cringe a little when I manufacture out that a drug policy reformer is going to be interviewed by Colbert, O’Reilly, or similar talk show host. Just for a second, though. But Pinchbeck was totally poised and articulate, without taking himself too seriously. Colbert at one point in the short conversation even seemed generally interested in what he had to

say about psychedelic use and consciousness expansion. I thought Daniel Pinchbeck’s (author and psychedelics advocate) appearance on The Colbert Report last week [Part 1] [Part 2] was spot on. The whole thing can go so terribly wrong whether the interviewee is not appropriately prepared for that specific kind of show.
